Here's a rundown of Tuesday's athletic schedule at Watauga High:

WOMEN'S SOCCER:

The Watauga High women's soccer team blasted Alexander Central 7-0 in Taylorsville on Tuesday night. Kendyl Baird backboned the Pionners (2-0-1 in the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference) with three goals and an assist. Skylar Hicks had a goal and an assist. Molly Wells, Hannah Younger and Samantha Byrd also scored for the Pioneers. Brittany Brown had an assist. The Pioneers travel to Hickory Friday night. The JVs won 3-0.  Eliza Enterline and Marcie Mahoney each had a goal and an assist. Hali Wood-Miller scored as well.

MEN'S TENNIS:

The Pioneers defeated Hibriten 9-0 on Tuesday in a Northwestern 3A/4A Conference match. Steve Lake, Michael Smith, Harrison Battle, Chris Ludwig, Patrick O'Neal and Aaron Evans posted singles victories for WHS. In doubles play, Lake and Noah Moomaw at No.1, Smith and Ben Proffit picked up a win at No.2 doubles, and Battle and Cody Snyder picked up a win at No.3 doubles. Jackson Yates to a win iin an exhibition singles match, and Patrick Carlson and Josh Lampkins picked up an exhibition win in doubles play. WHS (7-2 overall; 6-0 in conference play) travels to Fred T. Foard on Thursday.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE:

Reagan defeated WHS 7-4 on Tuesday night in Boone. Danielle Welsh and Jessie Nash each had two goals for the Pioneers (1-3). WHS travels to Mount Tabor Friday night; the men's team entertains Hickory Friday night. Marvin Ridge come to town Saturday afternoon.
