It was a busy night for Watauga High athletics Friday night. Here is a rundown of Friday night's games.

 

SOCCER: WHS 1, FRED T. FOARD 0
The Watauga High women's soccer team picked up its first win of the year in the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference Friday night as the Pioneers defeated Fred T. Foard 1-0. Brittany Brown scored the game's only goal. It was unassisted.

 

SOFTBALL: FRED T. FOARD 10, WHS 1
The Tigers errupted for eight runs in the seventh inning, thanks to four Pioneers' errors and defeated the WHS 10-1 on Friday night. Kim Robinson drove in the only run for the Pioneers with an RBI double in the seventh inning.

 

LACROSSE: WHS 15, KERNERSVILLE GLENN 0
The Pioneers picked up their first win of the year. Jessie Nash scored four goals to pace WHS. Freedom defeated the WHS men 12-0.

 

 

 

WHS GOLF: Saturday's non-conference match at Orchard Hills was cancelled. The match was originally scheduled to be played last Wednesday before it was rained out. The Pioneers travel back to Orchard Hills for a Northwestern 3A/4A Conference meet on Monday. South Caldwell is the host school.
