Rhodes, Margolis Earn All-NW3A/4A Honors PDF Print

Brooke Rhodes and Hannah Margolis of the Watauga High women's basketball team were named to the Northwestern 3A/4A All-Conference team.

Rhodes and Margolis, only sophomores, and their teammates backboned WHS to its first winning season since 2001, and the they also led the Pioneers to seven conference victories and a third-place finish. The seven wins in league play were the most by WHS since 1997. The Pioneers also reached the NW3A/4A Conference tournament championship game for the first time in school history.
The Pioneers were best by Hickory in the finals. Jada Payne of Hickory was the Player of the Year; Jeff Parham of South Caldwell was named the Coach of the Year.
