An Elk Park woman was injured this morning in what might be a black ice related wreck.  The accident was at about 6:45am on NC 105—rock crusher hill near Flintlock Campground, as Teresa Davis’ pick-up slammed into the embankment after spinning.  Watauga Medics, Boone Fire, and the State Patrol on the scene, with the DOT called to treat the road, as a number of slick spots were seen where water from the weekend rains froze on the road.  Teresa Davis was cited for exceeding a safe speed for conditions by trooper J.D. Brown.
