The driver of a Buick SUV was airlifted to the Johnson City Medical Center after a single-vehicle wreck near Linville.  The 11:50am wreck sent Avery Medics and Linville Fire/Rescue to the scene, and with the assessment of injuries, the driver was rushed to Cannon Memorial to meet with Wings 1 chopper for transport to Johnson City Tennessee.  The accident was only about a half-mile from the Linville Station.  The state patrol is investigating.
