A 21-year old woman was injured in an accident at about 1:15 Friday afternoon on US 321 North.  The woman’s car flipped over just past the Old Watauga River Road, causing her back and other injuries.

Watauga Medics rushed the woman to Watauga Medical Center for treatment while cove Creek firemen directed traffic around the site for over an hour.  The state patrol has that accident under investigation.
