Saturday’s ASU Men’s Basketball Game Moved to 7 p.m. PDF Print

Tipoff for Saturday’s men’s basketball game between ASU and UTC has been moved to 7 p.m. Saturday, the Southern Conference announced.

The move was prompted by a schedule change for the Mocs’ road game at Western Carolina.

That game had originally been scheduled for February 10, but an outbreak of the flu quarantined four UTC players, leading to a February 14 makeup date. However, further discussions between the two institutions and the conference office focused on a solution that would avoid Western Carolina finishing its season with five games in nine days.

Both tipoff times on the Saturday games involving UTC and WCU have been pushed back to provide more recovery time for the participants.  The Samford at Western Carolina game will start at 3 p.m. The Chattanooga at Appalachian State game will tip off at 7 p.m.

Appalachian hosts Samford Thursday night at 7 p.m. as scheduled in “Celebrate Watauga Night.”
