A Zionville man was arrested by Boone Police in connection with a December incident involving a child through internet contact.
Wednesday, Terry Lynn Cox of Zionville was arrested subsequent to the Boone Police Department investigation into an incident reported on December 1st of 2010. According to the release, the investigation shows that Mr. Cox is alleged to have made inappropriate comments to a minor in an internet instant messaging chat session. Mr. Cox was charged with one count of felony Solicitation of Child by Computer to Commit Unlawful Sex Act, and was taken before a Watauga County Magistrate and set a court date of March 2nd, then was held on a $5,000.00 secured bond. |
