It didn't take former Carolina Panthers' coach John Fox very long to find a new job.

Fox, who did not have his contract renewed by the Panthers at the end of the season, has been named the new head coach of the Denver Broncos. He will be formerly introduced at a press conference Friday afternoon at 2 pm EST.
Fox replaces Josh McDaniels, who was dismissed following a disappointing 4-12 season---,Denver's worst campaign since 1967, when that team was a woeful 3-11.
"I am very thankful to (Broncos owner) Pat Bowlen and John Elway for giving me the opportunity to coach a football team with such a proud tradition," Fox said. "The Broncos have a culture of winning and I am excited to continue that legacy. I can't wait to get to work, pushing our players to be the best they can be and representing this community as head coach of the Denver Broncos."
The Broncos haven't made the playoffs since 2005. But the Panthers  have struggled as well. They were an NFL-worst 2-14 this season, and 10-22 in their last two years combined.
But during his nine-year stay with the Panthers, Fox produced two division championships, three playoff berths, an NFC title and he got Carolina to Super Bowl XXXVIII. He's the winningest coach in team history with 78 wins. Fox becomes the 14th head coach in Broncos' history.
