Watauga High men's basketball coach Rob Sanders has announced that the Pioneer Holiday Invitational at Lentz-Eggers Gym has been moved to Wednesday and Thursday because of inclement weather.

The four-team field includes, West Caldwell, Mountain Heritage, WHS and Nations Ford from Fort Mill, SC. Nations Ford now has to commute because they cannot get rooms for Wednesday night. To help accommodate Nations Ford, per their request, WHS will play the early games on Wednesday. The WHS women will now play Nations Ford at 3 pm and the WHS men will play Nations Ford  at 4:30 pm. West Caldwell and Mountain Heritage will play the late games at 6 and 7:30 pm.
The consolation games and the championship games will be played on Thursday. Our coverage begins at 2:30 pm Wednesday night from Lentz-Eggers Gym on Oldies 100.7 FM.
