![]() The North Carolina High School Athletic Association has released the Wachovia Cup standings through the fall sports season. And Watauga High is ranked among the leaders. The Pioneers, who produced Northwestern 3A/4A Conference championships in men's and women's cross country, volleyball and in women's tennis, find themselves in fourth place among the Class 4A schools. The Pioneers have 117.5 points. Charlotte-Myers Park leads the Class 4A standings with 180 points.T.C. Roberson is eighth in Class 4A; Hickory is tied for 12th in Class 3A and West Wilkes is eighth in Class 1A. The Pioneers lead the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference standings with 71.5 points; Hickory is right behind WHS with 71 points, and Alexander Central is third with 68.
