New leadership took their seats in various county offices during the day today.

The now former board of commissioners in Watauga opened the business day, approved minutes, and recessed, that while David Blust, Vince Gable, and Nathan Miller were taking their oaths of office in the Superior Courtroom.  County business will resumed with the new board in place at 2pm, with the decision of new chairman, Nathan Miller, and vice-chair, David Blust, already decided.
