Watauga High baseball coach Pete Hardee has announced that senior Dylan Norris will sign with Pfeiffer University.

Norris, the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference Pitcher of the Year last spring, will make it official on Wednesday when he signs his National Letter of Intent with Pfeiffer, a Division II school in Conference Carolinas. Norris, was 6-3 last spring with a 3.83 earned-run-average.
He also had three complete games and a shutout. In 45 2/3 innings of work, Norris gave up 25 earned runs, 25 walks and he struck out 39 men.
The Pioneers, who lost to East Gaston in the opening round of the state playoffs last season, were 16-10.
