Appalachian State University football’s Nov. 20 regular-season finale at Florida will kick off at 12:30 p.m. and be televised nationwide on a pay-per-view basis.
The pay-per-view broadcast will be available as part of ESPN’s GamePlan package outside of the state of Florida. Viewers in Florida must check with their cable/satellite provider for pay-per-view availability in their area. Appalachian (8-0, 6-0 Southern Conference, ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division I FCS) and Florida (5-3, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) have combined to win five of the last 10 NCAA Division I football national championships. ASU won Division I FCS (Football Championship Subdivision — formerly Division I-AA) titles in 2005, ‘06 and ‘07 and UF claimed Bowl Championship series titles as the nation’s top Division I FBS (Bowl Championship Subdivision — formerly Division I-A) team in 2006 and ‘08. It is the first-ever meeting between the two programs. |
