 On September 12, 2010, Watauga County Sheriff’s Office received two reports involving breaking and entering and larceny from two residences.
It was reported that a Suzuki Quad King Four Wheel Drive ATV was taken from a residence located on Chestnut Grove Road and an Arctic Cat ATV was taken from a residence located on NC Highway 194 North. The estimated amount of the items taken was $9000.00. Sheriff Hagaman reported that the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit conducted an intense investigation into the breaking and entering and larceny. The Suzuki Quad King Four Wheel Drive ATV was recovered by the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit. As a result of this investigation the following individuals were charged. · Bobby Lee Miller, W/M, DOB: 9-18-1973, a resident of 343 Curly Maple Road, Boone, NC was charged with Breaking and Entering and Larceny after Breaking and Entering. He was arrested on October 28, 2010, taken before a Watauga County Magistrate and given a secured bond of $2,000.00. The court date for Bobby Lee Miller is December 1, 2010. · Eric Steven Rominger, W/M, DOB: 10-20-1976, a resident of 229 Pebble Lane, Boone, NC was charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering and two counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering. He was arrested on October 26, 2010, taken before a Watauga County Magistrate and given a secured bond of $8,000.00. The court date for Eric Steven Rominger is December 1, 2010.
