The North Carolina High School Athletic Association has released their playoff brackets for the state volleyball playoffs.

The Pioneers (23-3 overall; 12-0 in the Northwestern 3A/4A), the No.1 seed in the NW3A/4A, will open post-season play at Lentz-Eggers Gym on Saturday against North Mecklenburg, the No.4 seed from the I-Meck Conference. The Vikings are 8-15.

Saturday's match begins at 4 pm. The winner will play either South Mecklenburg (No.5 seed from the Southwestern 4A Conference) or McDowell (the No.1 seed from the Mountain Athletic 3A/4A Conference) in a second-round match on Tuesday. If WHS wins, the Pioneers host that match.
