![]() The Appalachian State football team retained its No.1 ranking in The Sports Network/Fathead.com Top 25 FCS College Football Poll, which was released early Monday afternoon.
ASU (6-0 overall; 4-0 in the Southern Conference), off to its best start 15 years, received 111 first-place votes; Delaware was No.2 and the Fightin'Blue Hens received 29 first-place votes. Jacksonville State (11 first-place votes), William & Mary and Stephen F. Austin (one first-place vote) round out the top five.
