Eric Breitenstein is on fire these days. The former Watauga High Pioneer and two-time All-State selection has backboned Wofford College to a 5-1 start, including a perfect 3-0 record in the Southern Conference.

The Terriers continued their march towards a SoCon championship by smashing Western Carolina 45-14 on Saturday in Spartanburg, SC. Breitenstein, who was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week two weeks ago, had 149 yards and three touchdowns. As a team, the Terriers racked up 501 yards on the ground.
For the season, Breitenstein, who is rapidly marching his way towards a 1,000-yard campaign, has 734 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Terriers, who are all alone in second place in the Southern Confernce, travel to Boone on November 13 for what should be a huge show down for the conference championship.
