![]() The Appalachian State football team is the unanimous No.1 team in the country for the second week in a row. ASU (5-0 overall; 3-0 Southern Conference) received 25 of the 27 first-place votes in the FCS Coaches Poll. The other first-place votes went to No.3 Jacksonville State and No.4 Stephen F. Austin. Wofford, 25th in the coahes poll last week, jumps up to 17 this week. Georgia Southern, which dropped a 33-31 decision to Wofford at home on Saturday, falls from No. 13 last week to No. 18.Delaware, Jacksonville State, Stephen F. Austin and William & Mary round out the top five; James Madison, Villanova, UMass, South Carolina State and Montana State round out the top ten. ASU takes on The Citadel at Kidd Brewer Stadium Saturday night at 6 pm. Our coverage begins at 4 pm on AM 1450, WATA. QuarterbaCK DeAndre Presley, who was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, is listed as day-to-day with a head injury.
