Terry Hartley is moving on. Following three successful years as Watauga High's women's tennis coach. Hartley, who led WHS to a pair of conference championships has resigned. He officially turned in his resignation last Thursday.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but I have a very enjoyable time working with the girls and the tennis program the last three years. WHS showed its worth by finishing third at the Twin-City Class in Winston-Salem this past weekend. The Pioneers posted victories against such state powers as Raleigh Cardinal Gibblons and Wilmington New Hanover.
