It didn't take long for Jason Hunter to find a job.Hunter, a consensus first-team All-America defensive end at Appalachian State University, has signed with the Denver Broncos. Hunter was released by the Detroit Lions on Wednesday, despite signing a $1.8 million dollar contract in the off-season to stay with the Lions. He had 34 tackles and five quarterback sacks in 14 games with Detroit last season. The five-year pro, who was a member of Appalachian's first national championship team in 2005, is with his third NFL squad. He was signed as a free agent and played for the Green Bay Packers from 2006-2008 before he was released and joined the Lions in 2009. Ironically, the Broncos play the Lions on Saturday in Denver.
