Today is Election Day

Don’t forget to vote today for local municipality races.

There are only three contested mayoral seats up for grabs in Ashe, Avery, and Watauga County, but town council or alderman seats are being voted on in all municipalities across the region.

The polls opened at 6:30 this morning and will remain open until 7:30 this evening.

High Country Radio will bring you live election coverage on Highway 106.1, Mix 102.3, and AM 1450 WATA beginning at 7:00 p.m.
