If you haven’t taken advantage of early voting, you must vote for local municipal races on Election Day, which is tomorrow.

There are only three contested mayoral races in Ashe, Avery, and Watauga Counties with three candidates running for Boone Mayor, two for Banner Elk, and two for Elk Park.

Every municipality has either town council or alderman seats up for grabs.

Polls open tomorrow morning at 6:30 and will remain open until 7:30 tomorrow evening.

High Country Radio will bring you live election coverage tomorrow evening on Highway 106.1, Mix 102.3, and AM 1450 WATA beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Results will also be posted on GoBlueRidge.net.

I can't swear to it, but I'm pretty sure Doug Matheson's HAND-WRITTEN, CORRUGATED CARDBOARD campaign sign posted near the road in front of Subway actually includes a couple Hee-Hawish backward letters and misspelled words.

I'm with cwsm. Edgerkayshun's for the birds. Vote for Matheson.

I am sure that Pam Williamson and her puppets will be on campus to make sure they have enough votes to win.
