Hagan Announces More Stimulus Money Coming to NC for Energy Efficiency

Senator Kay Hagan announced that nearly $21 million in federal stimulus money will come to North Carolina to support energy efficiency and conservation efforts.

Hagan said the money will be used to create programs that lower energy use, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and create green jobs across the state.

The money was awarded to North Carolina through the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program.

just wait until all of the power companys get done raising there rates you'll think conserve with a capital C.

Maybe the power companies will have to read the meters every two weeks rather than once a month. That should create some new jobs.
