Watauga High Athletics Director Jeff Link has announced that WHS tennis with Fred T. Foard has been rained out.

The tennis match will be announced at a later date. The Pioneers (7-1 overall; 6-0 Northwestern 3A/4A Conference) are currently in first place in the NW3A/4A at the midway point of the season.

Now, Watauga middle school football is on as scheduled against Hudson. That game kicks off at 5 pm at Jack Groce Stadium. The WHS JV football game will go on as scheduled at A.C. Reynolds beginning at 7 pm, and the WHS volleyball team (10-0; 2-0 NW3A/4A) will play Fred T. Foard at home tonight beginning with the JV match at 4:30 pm.
The varsity match will follow. Results will be available beginning at 6:45 am Friday morning on WATA 1450 AM.
