You may remember former High Country Radio personality, April Bostian. Several months ago, she and her family left the High Country to live in the Dominican Republic so April’s husband, Steve, could work in the missions field with CURE International.
Steve has been serving as the executive director of CURE International’s Center for Orthopedic Specialties in the Dominican Republic.
CURE International is the largest provider of pediatric specialty surgical care in the developing world and since 1996, CURE has performed more than 50,000 surgeries and seen more than 800,000 patients.
The Bostian family now has their blog up and running. April told High Country Radio it has taken them nearly four months to get settled in the Dominican with electricity, phone service, and Internet, but now they will be able to update their blog regularly.
The Bostians, and their three children, moved to the Dominican Republic in late December.
The Bostians blog can be found at http://bostiansinthedr.blogspot.com/.
