Watauga Storm Wins Tourney in Elizabethton
12:51 p.m. - The Watauga Storm 12u 6th grade boys won the Go Hard or Go Home basketball tournament in Elizabethton, TN. this past weekend. The Storm went 5-0 through the tournament and had the #1 seed going in to the championship game against the #2 seed, Greenville Devils, winning that game 42-37.

Youth Service Series "Rock in Him"
This Sunday Feb. 28 at 6pm, Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church will host the next Rock in Him worship service. This is a special program involving many area churches of various denominations. Rock in HIm stands for the Rock in Him (Jesus) and is designed for youth to have the opportunity to host a worship service, plan and lead the service and provide a time of fellowship afterwards.

On March 23, between 3-9 pm, Plemmons Student Union will reverberate with the rhythms of African drums, Native American tribal dance, belly dance and salsa. Children of all ages will enjoy the crafts and game of other cultures, from India to Appalachia. Folk artists will weave and spin and make toys and churn butter. Musicians, storytellers, and dancers will fill every room with dynamic performances that will bring you to your feet. And professional chefs will present an array of delicious foods from across the globe.
The Diversity Celebration is a family friendly event.
