Standing under a tree is probably not a good idea this morning, as the tons of ice that formed on trees and anything exposed yesterday may find its way to the ground early today. Trio Charged After Tanger Thefts

It seems that the Sunglass Hut at Tanger Shoppes on the Parkway are a favorite target of thieves, with three people charged in a larceny February 19th. At about 6:50pm, a Sunglass Hut employee reported that three people left the store after stealing a couple pair of sunglasses. Full Story

Boone Police investigators spent Monday pouring over evidence in the rape of a 21-year old ASU Student, an incident from the early morning hours of Sunday.
