Canadian Football League teams have until 10 p.m. (ET) Saturday night to reduce their rosters to 46 players.

Among the players released on Saturday were former Appalachian State University defensive back Mondo Williams, who cut by the British Columbia Lions, and former Texas and NFL quarterback Vince Young, who was among the players released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Armanti Edwards (now with the Toronto Argonauts) and Ed Gainey (Saskatchewan) are still on CFL rosters. The CFL will officially start its season on Thursday, June 22.
