Against All Odds.....

The Ashe County High football team finally ended 12 years of frustration Friday night against Watauga. The Huskies (2-0), off to their best start since 2008, defeated WHS 16-13 at Jack Groce Stadium. Kendall Richardson's 37-yard field goal with 1:36 left to play proved to be the difference. Victim Identified in Fatal Crash on US 221
