After four days of searching, rescue workers found Michael Auberry a little after 11am this morning. His father was there when the rescue call came in. Michael was reunited with his family, who believed all along that Michael’s Boy Scout survival skills and his heavy parka would provide protection and help keep him alive. The Greensboro Boy Scout disappeared from a scout camp Saturday in Doughton Park just off the Parkway in Wilkes County. Search crews included volunteers and family members conducted a massive 24-hour search that included bloodhounds and a helicopter with thermal imaging.
