ASU Radio Alumnus speaks at Institute PDF Print

Sixteen broadcasting majors at Appalachian State University attended the inaugural Keller Radio Farm System Institute. Among speakers was ASU alumnus and former radio personality James K. Flynn. The program, established to serve as a farm system for future radio broadcasters, was supported by a $500,000 commitment from the Keller Family Foundation. Students learned about on air work, news, writing, sales, traffic, programming, management, ownership and other aspects of the industry.
