After a day of closing statements, the jury began deliberations yesterday in the first-degree murder trial of Sawmills farmer Jerry Anderson.  Anderson is accused of murdering his wife, Emily, and stuffing her body in the toolbox of her pickup truck. With the option of reducing the charge to 2nd degree murder off the table, jurors must judge Anderson guilty of first-degree murder, or find him innocent. If convicted, Anderson could face the death penalty. Deliberations continue today.
