Watauga County Schools announced this week it is destroying non-current records of exceptional children.

Those students who graduated or completed a course of study in 2002 or exited the program because they reached the age of twenty-one have a right to receive their confidential student records. Anyone requesting student records should submit the student’s name, current address and telephone number to Beth Mings, the Exceptional Children Programs Data Manager at 828-264-7190. Records not requested by September 26 will be destroyed.
