Injuries were reported in two wrecks this morning just out of Boone, the first on NC 105 on rock crusher Hill.  That 7:54am crash was a multi rear-end collision that occurred as drivers were climbing the hill north-bound into Boone straight into the rising sun.  No one was transported in spite of reported injuries.
The second wreck occurred on NC 194 North near Rainbow Trail, when an SUV ran off of 194 at Shady Creek Lane, overturning as it fell down the hill, landing on its top.  Witnesses reported two pinned in the vehicle, but both were quickly freed, and injuries did not appear life-threatening in the crash. Both are under investigation of the State Patrol.
