A Caldwell man will be in court today after being captured overnight Friday in Longview after a 24-hour search. Cloyd “Wayne” Burns was arrested following an incident in which gasoline was poured on the car of Luann McFalls and ignited. She came to the Burns Road home to confront Burns over a break-in at her home, and he responded by  smashing in the windshield with a cinder block, then pouring gas on the vehicle. McFalls told Dave Faherty she scrambled from the car as Burns lit the fire, and the vehicle was completely destroyed. Burns fled the scene. Caldwell authorities say Cloyd “Wayne” Burns is charged with Attempted Murder, Burning of Personal Property, Breaking Entering, Larceny, and Possession of Stolen Goods.
