Police hopes suspects won’t weasel away PDF Print

Police are looking for someone responsible for stealing credit cards in the Ingle’s parking lot Sunday- and believe the suspect is armed with a ferret.

The credit cards were stolen from a Ford Explorer in the early afternoon. The suspect is believed to have used the cards to purchase a ferret and a baby cockatiel at the Pet Place, as well as products at Sally’s Beauty Supply. Police are looking for a white female, approximately 19 to 21 years old, with red hair, between 5’3” and 5’5” tall and 170 pounds. The suspect has noticeable acne on her face and was dressed in what police are calling a black “gothic” hoodie style shirt and jeans. Police are also looking for an accomplice, a white male, approximately 35 to 38 years old with blonde wavy hair, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” in height, with very tan skin. The male suspect is reported to have a piercing in his upper left ear. He was wearing a gold cross necklace.Anyone with information is encouraged to call Watauga County Crimestoppers at 828-262-4555.
