Website makeover: Town of Boone PDF Print
Sunday, 19 August 2007 20:00
Also at last week’s meeting, Boone Mayor Pro-Tem Lynne Mason initiated a discussion on how to communicate better with the community.
Several ideas were thrown out- including the possibility of a written quarterly report that citizens could access via e-mail. In the midst of coming up with ideas, it was said that the town of Boone’s website is an excellent source of information. Within the next week or so, it should get even better, according to the council’s Janet Pepin. Pepin says the website will have a new, user-friendly format that will make it easier for citizens to access meeting minutes. The press will be notified when the website is available in its new format.
