Granite Falls man in shooting PDF Print

A domestic dispute ended in gunfire yesterday morning.
According to Burke County Sheriff’s reports, 32-year-old Christopher Goins of Granite Falls alleged his girlfriend, Morganton’s 34-year-old Danielle McGaha, shot him in the leg with a .22-caliber rifle. Deputies responded to McGaha’s Morganton home and charged McGaha with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. According to reports, during an argument, Goins challenged McGaha to shoot him. McGaha was held in a Burke detention center under a $50,000 secured bond.
