Another counterfeit bill: Deputies have a suspect PDF Print
Thursday, 09 August 2007 20:00
A woman in a burgundy car allegedly used a 20-dollar bill to buy part of a tank of gasoline in Wilkes- and deputies think they know who the bill-passer is.
A deputy stopped a driver matching the description given by the Jimmy’s Superette clerk- and although an arrest has not been made, a photo-lineup may lead to charges. Once again, deputies remind you to remain vigilant. Cashiers are encouraged to purchase counterfeit detection pens, and, as always, if you suspect a bill is not legitimate- contact law enforcement immediately.
