Vehicle wanted in Double Homicide found in Avery County PDF Print

Rescue workers in Avery County may have found two murder suspects, according to Chief Deputy Dallas Pate.

Rescue personnel responded to a call this morning at Parkview Motel. A woman in a vehicle was unresponsive. Rescue workers were able to wake the woman up- but the situation got more complicated.

 

Officers checked the license number of the vehicle and found that it was wanted in Ohio for a double homicide.

 

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but according to Pate, two people connected with the vehicle have been apprehended for marijuana possession. The individuals have been identified as 18-year-old Tabith Messina and 19-year-old Carlos Christopher. Pate is waiting for a response from investigators in Ohio.
