High Country United Way wrote a grant request to the Wells Fargo Foundation to support the work being done through WAMY Community Action to help families move out of poverty. On Thursday, Wells Fargo presented WAMY with a check for $21,500 at Wells Fargo Bank in Boone with board members and staff from all three organizations on hand.
