OrthoCarolina’s employee wellness program, Be Well, has been named one of the top workplace wellness programs in the nation by theHealthiest 100 Workplaces in America annual program, which tracks and measures corporate health across the country. 

Audubon North Carolina (ANC) will soon reach out to 1,000 private landowners across nine Western NC counties to encourage them to protect and restore priority bird habitats, while simultaneously helping landowners enhance their property in cost-effective and sustainable ways.

High Country United Way wrote a grant request to the Wells Fargo Foundation to support the work being done through WAMY Community Action to help families move out of poverty. On Thursday, Wells Fargo presented WAMY with a check for $21,500 at Wells Fargo Bank in Boone with board members and staff from all three organizations on hand.
