The Women on Mission at the Poplar Grove Baptist 
Church is having a pinto bean supper on Friday
night October 21 from 6-8 pm at the church
fellowship hall. Take outs will be available.

Appalachian Women's Fund Helps a Dozen Agencies

The Appalachian Women’s Fund has completed grant allocations with a record breaking $68,000 total to twelve non-profit agencies serving impoverished women and children.  While funds were granted to agencies in four mountain counties, two of those recipients serve populations in seven nearby counties.
