The Watauga County Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer free CPR and first aid training on Saturday, March 19, as part of Gabrielle Giffords Honorary Save-a-Life Saturday. Ann M is taking orders for Girl Scout Cookies now through January 17th?  Cookies are $4 a box and the varieties this year are Thin Mints, Caramel deLights, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Thanks-A-Lot, Shout Outs, Lemonades and Shortbread.  She is also taking donations to send cookies to the military.  You can email her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
