Clubs have raised $25,000 to send food to the people of Haiti in the wake of
the devastating earthquake earlier this year. They are looking for 130
volunteers per shift, so sign up now! This event is family friendly and will
welcome volunteers from 3-100 years old! We've been told the project is fun and
time flies. Shifts are: 8:30-11am, 11-1:30pm, and 1:30-4pm (each shift begins
with a brief training sessions) and the event will take place in the Holmes
Convocation Center. Contact Mike Kebelbeck (828-295-7615) to sign up…walk
ins are also welcome, come help Haiti!
Note: If you are a fraternity,
sorority, church or civic organization, collect your volunteer names and get
the list to Mike. We are looking at about 130 volunteers for shift one, 140
volunteers for shift two, and 130 volunteers for shift three.
