Adrienne Stumb is WATA's Teacher of the Month PDF Print

Boone's heritage radio station AM-1450 WATA and Clark Tire New Market Center are proud to present the Teacher of the Month award to Bethel School's Adrienne Stumb.


Stumb will be presented with a Clark Tire gift card and a free pizza party for her class.


Stumb is a teacher at Bethel Middle School, teaching English and social studies. She grew up in Watauga County, attended Parkway Elementary, Watauga High School, and then completed her undergraduate degree at Appalachian State. She previously taught at Ragsdale High School in Guilford County. While in Guilford County. Stumb did her graduate work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her National Board Certification.


Stumb was nominated for the award by L. Zorek. The nomination said she has "taken a class that needed maturation and provided exemplary progress with their all-around behavior and focus. Awesome teacher."


Watauga County teachers can be nominated for the Teacher of the Month award by submitting an entry form at Clark Tire New Market. Entry forms are available at the location or can be printed out at
