Boone Police detective has been featured on national television for her perseverance, faith, and hope in the face of the harrowing situations and heartbreak she often faces on the job.

Detective Kat Brackenridge is the focus of "Moments of Hope," an original, short-length program airing on INSP TV and online at


"I hope this gives some insight into what we do and what we go through," Brackenridge said. "I only represent one of many. I hope this gives some encouragement to people in my line of work. The response to it so far has been amazing."


Brackenridge joined the Boone Police force in 2007. She was promoted to Detective in April 2012. She is the only female officer in the department.


As seen exclusively on INSP, Moments are original, short-length programs designed to inspire viewers with stories that celebrate love, faith, service, patriotism and other timeless truths in action.


"Moments of Hope" specifically features change-makers from all over the world.
