|CCC&TI Compass Students Shine at CANAM Competition|

Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute’s Compass Students recently competed in the Cheer LTD Nationals at CANAM Competition in Myrtle Beach S.C. in both the cheer and dance categories.
CCC&TI’s College Compass Program is designed for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries. The program helps students acquire basic skills to become more independent and self-directed and to meet and manage community, social, work and personal adult responsibilities.
The Caldwell Cobras Cheerleading Squad performed a routine to “Hey Mickey” and finished as 1st runner up and only 2 points away from earning Grand Champion.
The Caldwell Storm dance team performed a routine to various songs from 80s movies such as “Dirty Dancing,” “The Blues Brothers,” “Top Gun” and “Caddy Shack.” The Caldwell Storm team was named grand champion.
