Relay For Life of Ashe County is on Friday, July 15th. Opening ceremony begins at 6pm at Ashe County High School. There will be lots of activities. Inflatable slides and bouncies for the children, good food and lots of music. There will also be a dunking booth with local Ashe County celebrities willing to be "dunked" to find a cure. They include Sheriff James Williams, Bob Davis and Ashe Co. School Superintendent, Dr. Travis Reeves. Special laps will be designated for cancer survivors, caregivers and others. The luminary service begins at 9pm remembering those people lost to cancer and honoring those that are fighting cancer. We are creating a world with more birthdays!
